“Monster Month” continues! This week we’re updating one of the most important classes of monsters in Mecha Vs Kaiju, the Mutagiants of North America (Thanks to my old friend Barbara Moore for the name)! The Mutagiants are my salute to the classic giant insect movies of the 1960s. “Them”, the first giant bug movie about a colony of giant ants attacking Los Angeles, was released the same year as Godzilla, and represents the American version of nuclear anxiety.
